Our precious little Daniel Vianney
received his first Holy Communion today
with about 25 other children from our parish.
And in typical Creamer style,
the day had a few bumps along the way.
And by bumps, I mean the face plant Mary Grace took before Mass
that split her lip and caused both of us to get covered in her blood.
Thank goodness for the sweet parishioners who helped me clean up and get an ice pack on Mary's lip.
The chaos of the morning became a distant memory as those sweet children began to process down the aisle.
And I have to admit, I got a little teary eyed more than once!
Especially at this beautiful moment when little Danny
received our Lord for the first time
and his brothers were present as they served at the altar.
Oh, what a proud mama moment!
We were so happy that Nana, Popo,
and uncles Scott and Tim
were able to be here for the celebration.
My precious Daniel,
May God bless you on your
first Communion day.
May the happiness of this celebration
continue as you begin a new life
in Christ.
so proud of you Daniel. God will bless you in so many ways.
