What hard working guys you have there! :) Do the melons eventually pull the plants back down with their weight?
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing, but no, the melons grow very sturdily on the trellis. You're supposed to make like a little sling for the growing melons out of pantyhose, but I've never done that! They grow really big and the vine can support the weight with no problem. When the melon is ripe it just drops to the ground...I've never lost a melon due to a fall either!
