Chapel Veils

I hit pay dirt today at the thrift store!
Someone had put these GORGEOUS vintage chapel veils in the scarf box for two bucks a piece!

I'm sure these beautiful veils belonged to someone's devout mother or grandmother and how they ended up at the thrift store is beyond me!
How could anyone just throw them out?
Well, I'll certainly treasure them and give them a good home....and pray for the dear little old lady who used to wear them!

Oh, those are lovely! I always look for Catholic items when I go to thrift stores or flea markets, but rarely find anything. I'll send up a prayer for the former owner of those veils, too. I know she would be happy to know they now belong to another devout Catholic lady. :o)

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell
to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside
and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
