We ventured out to the thrift store on my day off and I came across this sad (but sturdy) coffee table for FIVE BUCKS! Picture, if you will, it painted in a gorgeous antique white and distressed, topped off with a four inch cushion and pillows in a pretty print!
And while I'm at it, I thought I'd paint our glider/rocker the same antique white and recover these 17 year old cushions in a chocolate toille and add pretty pink pillow.
I've rocked all my babies in that chair and I can't wait to rock our newest little one to sleep in something pretty befitting our little princess! ;-)

I've been looking for something similar, to re-do in black distressed for our family room (or the school room--I've not decided which yet, lol). Another thing I *really* want to find, is an old, NOT dividable/spreadable round pedastal kitchen table. I want wood, not pressed "stuff", iykwim. Hard to find. But I want one of those, so Brad can cut it down, put some sort of "spinning" mechanism on it (with a lock--you have boys, you know what they'd do if I couldn't lock it!), so we can move the table, and not the game/puzzle/etc. I want to 'do' that one, too, probably in black, although maybe red. Or cream. Depending on which room I convince him we ought to put it in, lol.
Btw, NICE baby shower!!!!!
And, I couldn't remember if you had lost all of your fig trees (I was thinking you had more than one), and saw this today...

Thought you might enjoy making this for the crew, assuming you had some home grown figs around...if not...sorry!!! :-(
