Cheesecake Brownies

I needed a quick, fool proof desert for our family get together. Cheesecake brownies are decadent and look so elegant on a glass platter with strawberries! They couldn't be easier to make:

1 box of your favorite brownie mix
1 egg
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 8ox. block of cream cheese
1 tsp. of vanilla

In a small mixing bowl, cream together the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg.

Prepare your brownie mix according to the box directions.

Pour half the brownie mix into your baking pan then top it with half of your cream cheese mixture. Repeat.
Take a knife and swirl the mixes together, not too much though, you want to be able to taste the chocolate and cream cheese separately! Bake according to box instructions and allow to cool completely before cutting.




Step away from the pan, kid.....or at least save some crumbs for your mama!
